Meet Our Interim Elementary Administrators
East Rochester School District is excited to introduce Interim Elementary Principal Jared Snyder and Interim Elementary Assistant Principal Anne Ceddia.
Jared Snyder has 26 years of experience in the East Rochester School District with a background spanning classroom teaching, student support, and school leadership. He has spent his years in education working as an elementary school teacher and Dean of Students before being hired into his current role as Elementary Assistant Principal in 2019.
Mr. Snyder will assume duties from Marisa Capuano, who has taken an administration role in another district.
Mrs. Ceddia joins East Rochester UFSD after spending 22 years with the Canandaigua City School District, where she served in a variety of roles at the elementary, intermediate and district levels. She most recently spent time as the interim director of special programs and as substitute assistant principal of the academy. Ceddia earned a bachelor's degree from University of Mount Union and a master's degree from Elmira College. She further completed a Certificate of Advanced Study Program in Educational Administration and Supervision and a Superintendent Development Program at SUNY Oswego.
“I am thrilled to be joining the East Rochester Elementary School team,” said Ceddia. “There is a uniqueness about the district that I look forward to being a part of and building on the work that is already underway."
Superintendent Jim Haugh said, "We are excited to welcome two experienced educators and administrators into their respective interim roles effective October 14, 2025, to support student learning and the daily operations of the elementary school."
The East Rochester Board of Education will act on Haugh’s recommendations for these administrative appointments at their next regularly scheduled business meeting.
