ER Receives Community Partnership Award from St. John Fisher University

East Rochester Union Free School District was selected for our work with St. John Fisher University and recognized with the Community Partnership Award. The award is given to a community organization that has partnered with St. John Fisher University and helped create greater outcomes for K-12 students and college students in the school of education. In the past 5 years, East Rochester Union Free School District has been a host site for 118 teacher candidates and involved in various initiatives including: the teacher pipeline, the teacher immersion fellows program, the Jamaica student exchange program and St. John Fisher University early childhood classes for literacy courses.
