As superintendent, Jim is charged with leading the district by strategically navigating multiple areas including, but not limited to; curriculum and instruction, public relations, Board of Education relations and meetings, facilities and operations, legal matters, parent and family relations, bargaining unit relationships, student support services and employee performance.

In his role as ER's Superintendent, Jim is currently active in several regional initiatives as a committee member or a member of the board of directors with the following programs: BOCES Special Education Steering Committee, East Rochester Rotary Club, Monroe County Council of School Superintendents, Monroe County School Boards Association, District Operations Commitee, Regional Equity Network, Rochester Area School Health Insurance Plan, Village of East Rochester Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, and the Urban Suburban Program. Prior to being named Superintendent of Schools at East Rochester, Jim was the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel at Victor CSD. He oversaw operations supporting nearly 800 employees on personnel, contract and labor relations, leadership and strategic planning for VCS. He served on the Board of Directors for the Finger Lakes Area School Health Plan (FLASHP) and maintained several professional affiliations in the area of Human Resources. Jim first started at Victor in August of 1993 and served the district as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and committee chairperson for numerous initiatives including more than 45 million dollars in Construction Projects prior to his appointment as personnel administrator.

Jim is a member of the Section V Football and Victor Athletic Halls of Fame for his efforts as Head Football Coach for VCS. Jim and his wife Kathy, an OBGYN Nurse Practitioner, reside in Macedon and have three adult children.

Ms. Stadler began her teaching career as a special education teacher in Newark Central School District and has extensive experiences within supporting student needs. Ms. Stadler started in administration as a CSE Chairperson before coming to East Rochester Union Free School District and has been in ER since March 2020. Ms. Stadler lives in Fairport with her husband Matt, a school counselor.

Staci began her career at Hochstein Music School working in their Business Office. In 2000, Staci moved to East Rochester Union Free School District as the District Treasurer and later the Assistant Business Administrator. Staci became the School Business Administrator for ER in 2019 and was appointed to Assistant Superintendent for Business and Operations in 2023. Staci lives in Webster with her husband and two children.

Dave began his career as an information systems coordinator and has extensive experience in technology in education. Dave moved to a Director of Technology position working under Superintendent Howard Maffucci. Dave worked in industry prior to coming to East Rochester Union Free School District in 1998.

Prior to joining East Rochester Union Free School District, Dan served as the Director of Facilities for the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District (NRW). In his time with NRW, Dan managed the buildings and grounds operations for three campuses and ancillary buildings and served as Chairman to the District Safety Committee. He also played an integral role in the management and oversight of a $35.5 million capital improvement project, including a gut renovation to the middle school. Prior to his work at NRW, Dan spent ten years in a variety of facility director roles with the YMCA of Greater Rochester. Dan is actively involved in his local chapter of the New York State School Facilities Association and he has held various roles on the Board of Directors of the Rochester Chapter of the Association for Facilities Engineering, including former president. Dan plans to maintain and improve the student environment throughout the East Rochester Union Free School District to serve the educational experience. He also plans to work with staff and stakeholders to ensure ER operations routinely meet the needs of the community. Dan lives in Ontario, New York with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family and working on countless projects around his home.

Alicia began her career in education in 2002 as a high school Spanish teacher. During that time, she served as a teacher leader for the World Languages and English as a New Language departments. Most recently, Alicia served as Assistant Principal at Burger Junior High School in the Rush Henrietta Central School District. Alicia lives in East Irondequoit and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends in the Finger Lakes.

Ms. Capuano's teaching career encompassed being an elementary educator, enrichment specialist, and instructional coach. She also has high school experience as a special education teacher and instructional specialist. From there, she began her administrative career as a high school assistant principal. She returned to her passion for elementary education as an elementary assistant principal and principal prior to coming to East Rochester Union Free School District as principal in January 2015. She has extensive experiences in educational program evaluation, as well as developing and implementing high quality instructional programs in all areas. Ms. Capuano lives right around the corner in Penfield with her son, who formerly attended the Teen & Tot program here at ER.

Teddy was Head Varsity Men’s Basketball Coach and a fifth-grade teacher at Gates Chili’s Paul Road Elementary School. Prior to that, he taught for nine years in the Rochester City School District. Teddy has been an outstanding contributor to the educational community. His commitment to advancing student health, wellness and safety has included participation in school committees focused on restorative practices, positive behavioral interventions and support (PBIS), equity and inclusion, and many more.

Quinn began her career as a teacher in the Manchester-Shortsville Central School District. During her time there, Quinn served as a building-level curriculum leader, data coordinator, department chair, and mentor. She is currently completing her Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from SUNY Oswego. Quinn lives in the City of Rochester with her husband Anthony.

Jared began his teaching career as a sixth-grade teacher and AIS provider and has extensive experiences in intermediate grades. He moved to the elementary as a Dean of Students, working with Marisa Capuano Philp. Jared started in administration as an assistant principal in 2019. He lives in the Churchville-Chili school district with his wife and twin daughters. The 2020-21 school year is Mr. Snyder's twenty-first year with the district.
