6th grade students teamed up with the Open Door Mission this June to learn about the homeless and challenge preconceived notions.

The students decorated lunch bags with encouraging messages and packed PB&J lunches to be distributed by the friends at Open Door Mission to those in need.

Thank you to the Open Door Mission and to the ER Schools staff who helped by contributing time or donations for the lunches!
